Nursing Pharmacology Prerequisites: BIOH 201, BIOH 211, CHMY 121, M 115 or M 121 or M 152 or M153 or M 171, NRSG 100, NUTR 221, PSYX 100, AND WRIT 101. Acceptance into the PN program.Through caring, communication, professionalism, critical thinking, and clinical judgment, students learn a structured systematic approach to the study of drug therapy. Medications are studied according to drug classes and therapeutic families. Students will learn to apply the nursing process to drug therapy with an emphasis on accessing relevant information to ensure client safety. | |||||||
