Organic Crop Production: Spring

This course is designed to teach students the fundamentals of organic vegetable and herb production in the spring months. Students will work in groups and independently in greenhouse and field settings, applying learned crop production principles to growing food on the campus farm. Topics covered will include variety selection, seeding and plant propagation, seedbed preparation, pest management, planning, farm management, and record keeping.
