Business Planning

Prerequisites: BADM 140, BADM 175 or SBM 150.Corequisites: ACTG 101 or ACTG 201 or instructor's consent.This course will deal with the three essential planning tools of any business, the Business Plan, the Marketing Plan, and the Advertising Plan. The course will explore the necessity of planning and how to develop mission statements, goals, objectives, and strategies. A variety of planning instruments will be examined and evaluated. Students will develop a business, marketing, and an advertising plan for a real or mythical business.
