Forensic Science I

Prerequisite: M 090.Corequisites: WRIT 101.The second of a two-semester course sequence of the general principles of modern chemistry, intended for science majors. The course emphasizes the experimental nature of the science of chemistry and a more mathematical intensive approach, with emphasis on critical and analytical thought. Topics covered include solutions, equilibria, kinetics, acids and bases, thermodynamics, electrochemistry, coordination compounds, organic and biochemical compounds. Laboratory included. This course is cross-referenced with ANTH 210.
