Note: CNA students must have proof of MMR, chickenpox and have had the first of the HEP B series of immunizations by the first day of class. Students need to have a tuberculosis skin test. Students must also pass a background check before allowed to participate in the clinical portion of the class. Also be prepared to pay 1/2 of tuition and fees at the time of registration. CNA students may be eligible for reimbursement of tuition and fees if they are hired by a long-term facility after successful completion of NURS 101 course. Students are required to attend all classes. The ability to lift 25 pounds is required. Will meet on the following Saturdays 10/30, 11/13, 11/20, 12/4.

Nurse's Aide Training

Concepts and practices in basic skills for CNA. Course includes basic medical terminology, basic human anatomy and physiology, and the aging process. Students will gain understanding and application of the skills required to address the needs of the chronically ill residents in long-term care facilities. State of Montana approved CNA testing at the end of course. Students are required to attend all classes. The ability to lift 25 pounds is required.
