Fundamentals of Nursing Prerequisites: BIOH 201, BIOH 211, CHMY 121; M 115, M 121, M 152, M 153 or M 171, NRSG 100, NUTR 221, PSYX 100, and WRIT 101.Corequisites: NRSG 135, NRSG 138, and NRSG 144.Introduces learners to the clinical skills essential for the nursing role. Also includes complex concepts and behaviors of nursing roles within the context of the nursing process, holistic care and health care. Emphasizes the theoretical practical concepts of nursing skills required to meet the needs of clients in a variety of settings. |
